send more troops to iraq. thats what i say. search every house and building. look for arms and go after the insurgents

And piss off the iraqis even more, generating more sympathy for the insurgency?

Man, that's a great idea!

the iraqi president said he would welcome the new troops
actually this is what the iraqi president wanted... Wink
The White House repeatedly said the plan to send thousands more American troops into Baghdad originated with the Iraqi leader. But what al-Maliki proposed was an Iraqi drive to calm the capital with American soldiers pulled back to the outskirts of Baghdad. The U.S. rejected this idea for fear it would lead to unequal treatment of Shiites and Sunnis.

I'm really intrigued...
what is it about the Bush time in office that you think is so great?
...Is it 9/11? My God... please say no
Katrina?
The Social Security debacle?
Harriet Myers?
No Child Left Behind? Which he sneakily didn't fund?
The abolishment of Habeus Corpus?
Selling us out to the Saudis?
There is nothing ---absolutely nothing this man hasn't touched that's turned into an unmittigated failure

Yes......true....our economy is an unmitigated failure. pay for themselves tax cuts, record tax revenues, deficit in half, 4.5% unemployment, low inflation, GDP in the 3-4 percent range.

Surplus?
What's the deficit now?
And what's been happening to our middle class jobs?
Everythings going over seas
We're poised for a major and I mean major recession here in this country and the housing market is the only thing that's keeping most middle class people from taking a dive

And because so many other countries buy parts of america's debt it becomes so that if america goes into recession most of the rest of the world will be hit pretty badly too.

Australia might survive because china is still importing tonnes, but thats slacking off too.

It's no secret I am a liberal, but don't worry I'm not gonna get mean in here lol. For those of you that say that Bush has done alot of good things for this country outside of the war, could you please specify what those are? Personally I think he has screwed up alot of things for this country, but in the other group that I am in liberals and conservatives just can't seem to get along.

You know, that is the first thing that pops into my mind when people tell me that Alfred E. Newman has done a lot of good things in his life, not just the presidency, but in his entire life.
Just name one please.
