No, I meant Jake. I was waiting on his witty retort.

Sorry, I've been real busy at work the past couple of days and I don't have time to go through every topic here. I honestly don't watch TV much, including the news, just don't have the time, but when I do watch the news I prefer Fox.

Television is evil, you are definitely better off not watching. Whether it is Fox or MSNBC.

i will assume that you were using over statement to prove your point, but supposing you weren't; tv isn't intrinsically evil, it may be used to bring about evil purposes, but also has plenty of solid information.

No, I meant evil. In the darkest most disturbing sense of the word: Evil. You are much better off going to the library and getting a book.

I like the Belgariad, or anything by David Eddings, not a fan of Tolkien at all, and I like a couple Mercedes Lackey things.

I am reading "The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich"....interesting war, especially if you follow the money trails back to the US.

I was just going to post a topic about that, I'll do it soon. But I don't like non-fiction books, they are boring, I want to read to see how we might function if circumstances where different, i don't want to read about regular life, I can live that.

Those money trails must have been what helped pull us out of the Great Depression.

There was a lot of Nazi sympathy here in the states, Prescott Bush being one of them. There was also Harriman, Morgan, Kuhn and Loeb, the Mellon family, Henry Ford......Bush is the one, though, that congress had to act against, citing the "Trading with the Enemy Act".

Actually Jake, they were outgoing loans. We, in fact, had a lot to do with financing the Third Reich. There were wire tranfers to the Reichsbank as late as 43'.

I watch CNN primarly but read other news sources like Voice of America among others, but I also watch MSNBC to get the conservative point of views from Chris Matthews and Joe Scarborough. Matthews and Scarborough arent arrogant, racist pieces of shit like Cavuto, Gibson, Hannity and O'Reily are along with Gerhaldo.
